the
release effect
permanently change your negative feelings
Back in Hong Kong in October 2008
The Release Effect is a guided personal development process that will allow you to permanently release unwanted negative feelings.

Do you ever procrastinate, lose your temper,
feel stressed, feel depressed, feel insecure, feel rejected or react in
other counter-productive ways?
These conditions are all caused by underlying unconscious feelings. The Release Effect will help you let go of those very deep feelings, all in one go and for ever, so that you can be calm, in the moment, productive and creative just as you choose to be. |
How Can You Benefit?
If you ever behave in ways that are not in your own best interest, you can benefit from The Release Effect. By eliminating the negative feelings that prompt you to get angry, procrastinate, hesitate, avoid, get depressed, panic, withdraw or react to other negative emotions, you will be able to live your life completely by your own conscious choice.
Without those negative feelings sabotaging your efforts, you can use the smartest part of your brain to make better choices about everything you do.
If you would like to be completely present and in the moment, this is how to do it. As Eckhardt Tolle says, when you are completely present, you will feel acceptance, enjoyment and enthusiasm.

"I had a terrible, time-wasting
computer-game habit that disappeared completely after I finished the first
session of The Release Effect. And then I began to discover all kinds of
subtle ways I had been limiting myself and new choices I could make. I was
always a happy person, but now my feelings of happiness are so much deeper
and I feel that what I can achieve is completely unlimited."

| "The benefits of
The Release Effect are ongoing and cumulative and I'm realizing more on a
daily basis, with many pleasant surprises! The immediate effect was
profound, resulting in unexpected levels of calm and confidence. Having
every fear and doubt stripped away has left me with a wonderful sense of
freedom and a knowing that whatever the future may hold, I will be ready
to face it.
"The process has been a gift to myself and my family and I consider myself to be extremely fortunate to have been introduced to it when I was. I don't believe there is anyone who wouldn't benefit enormously from The Release Effect. I wholeheartedly recommend it!" --Peter Armstrong, Smoking Cessation Expert, Hong Kong, Tel: +852 9273 2837, www.breakfree.com.hk |

How Does It Work?
The Release Effect consists of three 1- to 2-hour private sessions provided by Mr Ray Lewis over a period of a few days. In the first session, which takes up to 2 hours, Ray will guide you to identify the negative feelings that you wish to release. Then, in a gentle guided meditation, you will begin to let go of those feelings in your own way. The second and third sessions are also guided meditations where you complete your release of those feelings. You must have at least one night's sleep between each session.
Many people experience immediate positive changes from The Release Effect, and some may experience the changes in much more subtle ways that can emerge over many months. In fact, the changes just keep on coming, because of the many layers of defenses, denials, avoidances and compensations that we build over the years. After The Release Effect, we have the choice to change those patterns as they reappear because the underlying cause has gone.
The Release Effect impacts the root cause feelings that control you below your awareness, but it's up to you to learn how to live your life given that freedom. Once you've completed the 3 sessions, you will still have plenty of habits to unlearn and new skills to learn.
| "The immediate effect was that I
could concentrate and be more focused in what I do. Before I had internal
conflicts in my head which caused me to procrastinate. After doing The
Release Effect, I could 'just do it'. The Release Effect was like taking a
pill in the Matrix because it helped me reach a new level of
understanding. Now, about 2 months later, I still have many things to
learn and I'm going through different ups and downs and new decisions all
the time, but from a new level of awareness."

| "I don’t know what you did three
years ago in the sessions, but it sure worked. I’ve seen improvements in
all areas of my life, relationships are better, work, and family. I’ve
found life to be very easy to navigate after the sessions. It took time
for the full result, but it was worth the wait."

Who Is Ray Lewis?
| Ray Lewis is a fully trained and qualified
Release Effect facilitator. He spent two years in a study and
apprenticeship program and has now delivered the process to more than 1000
clients. He experienced the process himself 8 years ago when he was in a
very low place and has since rebuilt his life and now travels all over the
world delivering The Release Effect to people he meets.
Ray is an Australian who currently lives in Berlin, Germany. You may find him a bit quirky and casual, but he is trustworthy, open and very wise about how this process works. He has visited Hong Kong twice since the summer of 2006 and provided The Release Effect to more than 60 people here. |

What's the Science Behind It?
The key point is that this process deals with feelings which are created as memories in the amygdala (primitive part of the brain) before the age of 2. Humans cannot remember anything before the age of about 3 or 4, right? And yet, babies must have memory, because otherwise they would not be able to learn and grow.
The theory is that the baby's brain actually creates beliefs in the form of feelings. They cannot create beliefs as words because they don't have the capability. Those 'feeling beliefs' stay with us all our lives, unconsciously affecting all of our actions, unless we purposely change them through The Release Effect.
Most of the other therapies that I'm aware of deal with memories as far back as the age of 3 or 4, or else they work on previous lives. This is the only process that is purposely designed around the emerging data about the role of 'feeling beliefs' in the amygdala. These feeling beliefs develop between conception and very early childhood. Some other therapies or healing processes (we've tried loads of them) seem to touch on this area but they do not have the simplicity and permanence of the Release Effect, as far as we can tell.
| " I feel, therefore I am. We learn to feel before we learn to think." -Ray Lewis |
How is it Different from Other Therapies?
The Release Effect is completely different from all psychological therapies because it is not cognitive and does not deal with thoughts or thinking. There is no analysis or regression and there is no need to believe in anything. Other therapies and processes that deal with re-programming can have a big impact on specific aspects of your behaviour, but The Release Effect changes the root cause feelings which have a much more comprehensive impact on your life.
It is also different from many personal development processes because there is no need for continuing reminders or practice. Once you do the 3 sessions of The Release Effect, you will have gained all of the benefits. Some people choose to have one more session after about 3 to 6 months in order to handle any negative feelings that they were not aware of in their first sessions. But apart from that, no ongoing treatment or practice is required.

"I am fascinated by personal development
and have tried many different methods and technologies to learn how to
change myself and to help others change. Much to my surprise, The Release
Effect is very different from anything else I have tried. It took much
less effort and was much more effective in removing the inner barriers that
were stopping me from being who I really want to be."

| "At last, I was satisfied with life
as a person who had overcome pretty unusual challenges from an early age
by being fiercely resourceful and self-reliant. Because of my upbringing,
I ended up achieving mastery in "Coping", without really
realizing how much energy it actually took. That's why I noticed a surge
of extra energy and focus that were suddenly available to me right after
the first session. Since then I've been reclaiming the energy from coping
to take my life to the next level! The Release Effect offered me a brand
new chapter to write about when I thought I had arrived."

| “I am writing this, because I did ‘Release’
with Ray and it did change my life. I have been happy for four years (Dec
2005) and I can't recommend enough this new, alternative, non-invasive way
to a happy existence. ‘The Release Effect’ changed my life and I can't
see why it can't change yours as well.”

Why Haven't I Heard of it Before?
The process was invented maybe 15 years ago by a research psychologist in Australia. There are now around 100 therapists in Australia using it and a few around the world. But it is still mostly being used as a therapeutic treatment. No one has really promoted it yet internationally and to a general audience. Ray Lewis is the first one to go international with it. Therefore, not many people know about it yet.
