Harrison Assessments for Career Change      

Harrison Assessments are an excellent tool for deepening your self-awareness in relation to your career so that you can make better career choices. The Assessments provide detailed information on your personal traits, strengths, preferences, paradoxes and inconsistencies.  I love their very positive theoretical basis, the strong scientific validity, the practical flexibility, and the ease of use. Most of all I'm impressed by the depth of insight they provide. 

Why should I use Harrison Assessments for changing careers?

It is important to ensure that your new career will satisfy and fulfill you more than your current job. Harrison Assessments allow you to:

  • clarify exactly want you want from your work life and 
  • determine what careers would most likely provide it.

You can then focus your job search more effectively and promote the unique qualities that make you the ideal candidate.  Self-awareness helps you find the best job proactively, avoiding costly mistakes, and enhancing your job search strategy. 

It's possible to learn a lot about what careers suit you through self-reflection and structured thinking exercises, but Harrison Assessments will greatly accelerate the process and give very accurate results. 

How does it work? 

We make all of our choices in life based on our preferences. Those choices become our personal strengths, weaknesses, motivations and behaviours. For example, if you prefer to spend a lot of time talking to people, you'll do it a lot, you'll get good at it, get compliments for your people skills and be seen as a 'people-person'. 

In the HA Questionnaire, you will rate your preferences for over 100 different criteria. The Assessments then indicate your communication styles, leadership styles, work styles, motivations and correlate all of these with the success traits of specific careers or job functions. The Assessments give you a completely customized description of you without using any types or categories that limit you. All results and correlations are based on solid research and proven methods. 

The HA Questionnaire asks you to prioritize lists of criteria. It's a simple process, taking approximately half an hour to complete.

How do I get started? 

To be assessed, all you need to do is:

1) Request the link to the on-line questionnaire by sending a blank email . Complete the questionnaire on-line. It takes about half an hour.

2) I will contact you to arrange payment. Payment can be made by Hong Kong cheque or money order, direct deposit, bank transfer or PayPal using your credit card. If you need help deciding, please give me a call. 

3) I will email you an invoice and once I have received payment I will supply the reports by email and contact you to arrange our coaching session.
